Felt-making session, Saturday 21st May, starting 10am and finishing at 12 noon – In aid of Ukraine’s DEC Appeal at West Hatch Village Hall (TA3 5RJ) we are offering a felt-making session, kindly led by Andrea Coleman who is donating her time and the materials. The cost of the session is a minimum donation of £15. We will limit numbers so it is important to book in quickly.
You will have a fun morning supporting the Ukrainian Appeal learning how to make handmade felt. You will make patchwork felt, using pure merino wool, silk and other fabrics. You can choose whether to make fingerless gloves or a glasses case. This fun technique needs no sewing, just a sharp pair of scissors and your own creative hands. Bring with you an old towel and sharp scissors.
The cost of the session is a minimum donation of £15 and you will make either fingerless gloves or a glasses case. This will be a two hour workshop. We will limit numbers so it is important to book in quickly.
After the session ends, there will be a light lunch on offer at 12.30 again with a minimum donation of £5 towards the appeal. This will be open to all from 12.30 pm, but you will need to book so we can cater appropriately.
To book one or both sessions ring Margaret Luck on 01823 480445 or email her at msluck50@yahoo.com
